"Strong Believer was one of the last tracks I completed for the album. I finished it the week before playing at Armin's ASOT450 party in New York and couldn't resist giving it a spin.
It remained an ID - ID for 2 months and quite a few people asked what it was. I really like what the video producer put together for the Strong Believer video, check it out!" Lange

"Sci-Fi Hero is one of the instrumentals on the album. It's a pure trancer, and remained unnamed right until the day before the CD artwork was to be completed! The name came to me after listening to the track 10 times in a row; eyes shut, imagination rolling.
The track was equally difficult to complete. The rhythm and basslines etc were all there but i kept on changing my mind on melodies and it took 3 revisits over a few months to settle on the final one." Lange

Harmonic Motion is an album of genius and perfection in this new era where trance has come to encompass everything and anything; a synchronization of melody and groove.

Where Better Late Than Never was an experiment in sound, this album is a confident representation of trance in its multitude of forms, taking a spectrum of influences, counting among them working alongside some of the most talented and innovative song writers within and from outside the genre. Lange announces summer festival appearances

On July 9th, Lange heads to the massive Balaton Sound Festival in Hungary alongside The Chemical Brothers and Paul Van Dyk.

As part of the performance Sarah Howells, the vocalist on 'Out of The Sky' and 'Let It All Out', will be singing live on stage.

Also in July Lange will be appearing at the Tomorrowland Festival in Boom, Belgium. The official lineup for the Tranceaddict stage has been announced and Lange is joined by Andy Moor, John O'Callaghan, Solarstone + more at the event on 24th July.

The first single from Lange's eagerly anticipated second artist album Harmonic Motion has been promo'd with early support from Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Markus Schulz and Gareth Emery.

The single Live Forever features the exquisite Emma Hewitt and the premier at the massive ASOT450 event resounded with full support from listeners and clubbers and gets the ball rolling on what is set to be hit after hit from one of trance's brightest stars.

A strong remix package is represented by Matt Zo and a Lange Recordings label favourite, Steve Brian. Matt Zo's well crafted bass creates instant drive and a unique groove. Quickly blending a full array of effects into the remix he instantly creates a beautiful atmosphere. Lange 026 comes from Michael J Parker, fresh from his last hit on Flashover Recordings last July 'Monostep' where he teamed up with Dominik De Leon (half of DuMonde) to produce a track supported by Ferry Corsten, Lange, Cosmic Gate, Bart Claessen, TyDi, Heatbeat, Ernesto vs Bastian, Cliff Coenraad and Mark Sherry to name but a few!

Michael continues in the same vain here with Identity. Right from the word go the action begins with a rather large driving bassline at the heart of the track. This is quickly accompanied by sweeping synths before dropping into the breakdown where Michael unleashes a powerful lead destined to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!

The Paul Vernon remix is a more laid back affair. Progressive basslines and well sculpted percussion build towards a beautiful and thoroughly emotive breakdown. Taking the listener on a real journey before dropping them back into the action.

The second remix comes from Dutch man of the moment Daniel Wanrooy. Daniel has become an unstoppable force already in 2010 with tracks and remix's on Black hole, Spinnin, In Trance we Trust and High contrast. And Yet again he fails to disappoint! Huge pulsating basslines and cleverly crafted effects make for an intense build up and huge atmosphere. An excellent way to round off the package; use this one with Caution!

Lange Recordings' 27th release is a massive remix from Dutch star Bart Claessen. Over the last 8 years Bart has been responsible for huge international chart smashes and sub-genre defining releases with a string of hits that can rival just about any producer with tracks such as Playmo', 'When Morning Comes' & 'First Light' all being hammered by just about every top jock imaginable.

The original single by hit band DI-RECT recently reached no.2 in the Top 100 Netherlands sales chart and No. 11 (and still riding high) in the Dutch Radio Play chart. This was the first single since the group, which has racked up numerous hits from their 6 albums and 18 singles, as well as winning several TMF awards, lost its original lead singer who left unexpectedly to follow a solo career. After running a contest to find a replacement, documented and broadcast in a BNN programme called 'Who Is Di-Rect' the band returned in full strength with Times Are Changing.

Bart responded by churning out an absolute belter of a bootleg and after receiving permission from EMI, Lange Recordings is now able to give the remix its well deserved release. His style fits expertly on top of the amazingly powerful vocal talents of Di-rect. This mix is a real fusion of powerful trance synths, pounding bassline action, with massive spine tingling guitar riffs. Lange's original 1999 remix of ‘Happiness Happening' shot into the UK Top 20 and became one of the trance classics of all time. 10 years on Lange is releasing a re-recording of the 1999 remix together with a modern 2009 mix taking the track in a new direction!

Both feature the original timeless vocals by Tracey Carmen and will be released on Lange Recordings in late October.

Steve Brian 'Starlight' on Lange Recordings

German producer Steve Brian is one half of duo Marksun & Brian. He makes his debut on Lange Recordings with this superb uplifting/progressive Trancer, 'Starlight', coming fresh off the back of his highly successful last release 'Yaya' on Euphonic records which was supported by all the Trance elite including Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, and Armin Van Buuren, to name a few. ‘Starlight' is a real uplifting affair, with bouncy percussion and lush, atmospheric and melodic strings.

Lange remix update!

This month see's the release of Ferry Corsten's remix album for ‘Twice In A Blue Moon'. The album features some brilliant remixes including the much anticipated Lange Remix of We Belong. Ferry Corsten is currently touring his TIABM show and Lange will be featuring as the special guest for shows in Bucharest, Romania on 10th October, and Ljubljana, Slovenia on 26th December.

Lange's remix for Oceanlab's ‘I am what I am' was released earlier this summer on the remix album for ‘Sirens of the Sea'. The track went on to become one of the album favourites and one of the songs soundtracks of the summer featuring on Cream's Trance Anthems Ibiza compilation among many others.

2009 was an incredibly successful year for Lange Recordings, Lange released the brilliant "Let It All Out" and "Happiness Happening 2009" and the label released its new compilation series "Lange pres Intercity Summer 2009". Lange Recordings also got chance to work with some fantastic producers and gained consistent support from the DJs throughout the scene.

We are continuing to work with many of these stars as well as giving some new debuts and introducing new talent throughout this year; so to support this success and give artists on the label the best possible promotion we are launching the new Lange Recordings website!

'Let It All Out' featuring Sarah Howells, is the follow up to the modern day anthem 'Out Of The Sky' which took the world of clubbing by storm late last year, introducing the trance scene to this future indie-rock star's incredible vocal talents.

With massive DJ support from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Judge Jules on his Radio 1 show, Ferry Corsten, and Above and Beyond and licensed to numerous compilations within weeks of promo, 'Let It All Out' looks set to enjoy similar success.

Lange's original mix is backed up by a stunning remix from Ronski Speed and an electro edged take from the UK's Genix.
