Lange invited to play at ASOT450 in New York

Lange has been invited to play on the 3rd day of Armin Van Buuren's ASOT450 celebrations.

He'll be rocking the New York crowds alongside Breakfast, Guiseppe Ottaviani, JOC, Filo & Peri, Alex MORPH and of course Armin!

Lange Recordings' 27th release is a massive remix from Dutch star Bart Claessen. Over the last 8 years Bart has been responsible for huge international chart smashes and sub-genre defining releases with a string of hits that can rival just about any producer with tracks such as Playmo', 'When Morning Comes' & 'First Light' all being hammered by just about every top jock imaginable.

The original single by hit band DI-RECT recently reached no.2 in the Top 100 Netherlands sales chart and No. 11 (and still riding high) in the Dutch Radio Play chart. This was the first single since the group, which has racked up numerous hits from their 6 albums and 18 singles, as well as winning several TMF awards, lost its original lead singer who left unexpectedly to follow a solo career. After running a contest to find a replacement, documented and broadcast in a BNN programme called 'Who Is Di-Rect' the band returned in full strength with Times Are Changing.

Bart responded by churning out an absolute belter of a bootleg and after receiving permission from EMI, Lange Recordings is now able to give the remix its well deserved release. His style fits expertly on top of the amazingly powerful vocal talents of Di-rect. This mix is a real fusion of powerful trance synths, pounding bassline action, with massive spine tingling guitar riffs. The track picks up pace in no time at all, the groove is constant and the crowd won't stop dancing until reaching what can only be described as a breakdown of epic proportions. This will have just about everyone reaching for the sky before sending them back into a frenzy!

Lange Recordings 25th release comes from one of Germany's fastest rising stars Steve Brian. Steve brings us his second outing on the Lange Recordings Imprint. And just as 'Starlight' did last year 'La Gomera' is sure to leave a big impression with all the top jocks.

The remix this time round comes from fellow countryman Matthias 'Cressida' Baumann. Coming off the back of the highly successful '2010 EP' on the Euphonic label, Cressida turns to remix duties this time for his first appearance on the Label. The Cressida mix raises the tempo slightly with a distinctively unique groove in the bassline that will have everybody dancing before going back into the awesome original breakdown. Cressida has definitely kept the best elements of the original whilst sprinkling his own unique sound on top.

An excellent way to start the 2010 Lange Recordings release schedule, Steve Brian & Cressida have delivered mixes that will no doubt stay firmly at the front of many DJ's boxes for months to come.

2009 was an incredibly successful year for Lange Recordings, Lange released the brilliant "Let It All Out" and "Happiness Happening 2009" and the label released its new compilation series "Lange pres Intercity Summer 2009". Lange Recordings also got chance to work with some fantastic producers and gained consistent support from the DJs throughout the scene.

We are continuing to work with many of these stars as well as giving some new debuts and introducing new talent throughout this year; so to support this success and give artists on the label the best possible promotion we are launching the new Lange Recordings website!

The site contains the Lange Recordings back catalogue with information on where to buy releases as well as detailed information on all the artists that have released with us. 'Wanderlust' sees Lange on Anjunabeats for the first time under his resurrected Firewall guise. Previously showcased on Anjunabeats Volume 7, the Original Mix is a bristling cyber trancer powered by buzzing synths, punchy beats and rumbling basslines with some catchy melodic hooks thrown in for good measure.

Taking charge for both remixes is Sunny Lax. The first is more akin to his newly discovered, almost progressive sound, whilst the second harks back to Levente's style of old; delightful cascading electronics, trancey breakdowns and a warm persona take it away from the bleaker soundscapes of the original and bring the package to an uplifting conclusion.
