Did you enjoy that night?</b></p> <p>Thoroughly enjoyed the night. But then I always enjoy The Gallery - it sounds a cliché to say it, but it's true! I've got a lot of friends who come down to MOS whenever I'm in town, so it's always great to catch up with everyone as well as playing my set of course.</p> <p><b>'Hindsight' being a wonderful thing, would you have done anything differently with the album?</b></p> <p>The process of writing, releasing and promoting an album can be very intense and I definitely will tweak some things next time round, to make the process smoother. My DJing schedule is looking even busier this year, so I think the key thing for me will be to manage my time even better to maximise studio time.</p> <p>Have to say I'm itching to start work on the next one.</p> <p><b>You're atest track is 'All Around Me.' What did you use to produce software wise?</b></p> <p>I've always been a Cubase user, and I only use Softsynths these days. I've just started a new project alias, ‘Lange presents LNG', the first single being ‘Brandalism.'</p> <p>The reason for this is I feel it's time for me to branch off a little. Having a new alias for the more driving grooved/edgier stuff I also want to produce. My DJing style has been leaning more and more towards the edgier stuff - and a new alias allows me to experiment further in this direction. It'll be a main focus this year, but saying that I already have a couple of Lange vocal singles in the pipeline too.</p> <p>Although this is a ‘new alias', some may remember my track from 2003 called ‘Intercity' under the alias LNG. I decided to recycle the name!</p> <p>Also out this month is my single with Fabio XB on Armada, called ‘Electrify.'</p> <p><b>Are there any special measures you take, to keep your 'Intercity' Podcast fresh and innovative?</b></p> <p>I haven't played around with the formula too much over the past couple of years. I'm very passionate about making the show the best it can be, and ultimately the key thing is the music - I spend a lot of time listening to tracks searching for the ‘gold' to include in the show!</p> <p><b>Most preferred aspect of The Gallery?</b></p> <p>It feels like a home fixture, the crowd are musically-open and educated, and the sound system takes no prisoners.</p> <p><b>You're on the bill with Mr Corsten on Fri. How are you travelling on ferries though?</b></p> <p>Actually, not great. I had to endure an 8 (yes I said EIGHT) hour ferry crossing to Belfast last year - to get to a gig when the Icelandic volcano was doing its thing. A hectic week ahead in the studio before I head off to Budapest and then Utrecht for Energy this weekend!</p> <p><b>What have you got in store for Energy?</b></p> <p>I've been super busy in the studio recently so have a lot of fresh productions to play, including a couple of tracks from my new project ‘Lange presents LNG'. Also I'm working on a few surprises and special edits for the show! I'm sure I'll drop in a classic somewhere too, still thinking about which one.</p> <p><b>Following on from last year's album Harmonic Motion, have you got any plans for a new album in 2011?</b></p> <p>I am working on an album but I'm not sure exactly whether it will be out this year or next. I also have a couple of mix albums scheduled including one for the UK's Passion Club, out in April. I'm just finalizing the mix for that this week!</p> <p><b>Do you have any co-writes lined up for this year?</b></p> <p>I've discussed hooking up with a couple of other producers this year but can't really announce anything just yet, although I can probably say Andy Moor and I are looking to do something again very soon! We had such a good time working on ‘Stadium Four' and I'm a big fan of Andy's work.</p> <p><b>...What about vocalists?</b></p> <p>I have plans to work again with some who featured on the last album as well as some new vocalists. I'm sure myself and Sarah Howells will get back in the studio again at some point. She's currently focusing on her Indie band Paper Aeroplanes at the moment.<br />Also I have a new track with Betsie Larkin already produced which will be released later in the year.</p> <p><b>Tour schedule, apart from Energy and other key dates have you got coming up?</b></p> <p>Things are just about to get manic again on the tour front. After Energy I'm heading to India for a 3 date tour, doing a number of dates across Europe, then to South Africa for ASOT500. Other highlights include Passions 16th Birthday, Luminosity and returning to Indonesia and Canada!</p> <p><b>Anything else you're looking forward to this year?</b></p> <p>I'm getting married in June! With so many of my friends scattered around the world, it'll be a great opportunity to see them all together in one place. We're not sure what we're doing for a honeymoon yet but I'm already looking forward to the holiday!</p> <p><b>You have a Radio Show and Podcast called ‘Intercity'. How do you keep the show fresh and interesting?</b></p> <p>I haven't really changed the show's formula much over the past couple of years; it hasn't really needed much in the way of tweaks. Ultimately the most important aspect of the show is the music and I spend a lot of time carefully selecting what makes it in the show. It seems the popular episodes tend to be those with a more eclectic mix of music.</p> <p><b>...and are there any plans for another installment of the ‘Intercity' mix album series?</b></p> <p>Yes definitely, it's likely to be towards the end of the year.</p> <p><b>You're launching a new Lange alias at Energy, can you tell us more about this and why you've chosen to work under a new alias?</b></p> <p>The new alias is ‘Lange pres.
